Denis Hangi Traveling to Kisangani Next Week

Denis Hangi, Country Director for Democratic Republic of Congo, is traveling to Kisangani on Sunday, August 11 to teach a lay trauma healing workshop to some of our teachers in the area. Be on the lookout for photos and stories from his visit!

Kisangani is the capital of Tshopo province in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is the third largest urbanized city in the country and the largest of the cities that lie in the tropical woodlands of the Congo. Some 1300 mi from the mouth of the Congo River, Kisangani is the farthest navigable point upstream.
